Visiting the Bookworm Garden in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, was the perfect way to give our sunburned faces a break from swimming pool, beach and boat fun. I enjoyed Bookworm Gardens as much as the children whose ages range from preschool through preteen.
Over sixty children’s books are presented through beautiful flora, sculptures and whimsical structures. The books are even available for guests to read during their visit.
Admission is free. The staff and volunteers also offer interesting classes and special events for children, families and adults.
Hi sis-in-law. The girls listed the garden as one of their favorite things from the summer vacation. I could really enjoy being a volunteer there. Thanks for writing a comment.
Wish I had been there!
Beth Ann said it was a favorite of everyone and well worth a visit. thanks for the comment.
this is going on my bucket list
It would be about a four plus hour drive for you but there are fun things to see along the way if you take back roads. Thanks for the comment.
